Following a detailed site survey at Routec, we identified a strong opportunity to replace an ageing diesel forklift fleet with a modern electric TCM FHB counterbalance fleet. The move supports improved safety, lower operating costs, and a cleaner, quieter working environment—while still delivering the performance required for demanding day-to-day operations.
Modern electric forklifts bring significant safety advances compared with older diesel models. The TCM FHB range is designed to give operators greater control and confidence, particularly in busy yard and warehouse environments.
Built-in safety features such as automatic braking systems, hill-hold control, and speed reduction when cornering help reduce the risk of roll-back, instability, and loss of control. Combined with improved ergonomics, reduced vibration, and quieter operation, this creates a more comfortable working environment that helps reduce fatigue and improve awareness throughout the shift.
Switching from diesel to electric forklifts removes exhaust emissions. For Routec, this means cleaner air in and around buildings, loading bays, and pedestrian areas, as well as a quieter site overall.
